LatinX Heritage Month
Every September, we celebrate LatinX Heritage Month at Dropbox. In addition to the events and programming celebrating this month, we also do a full take-over of the office: VC screens, posters, a projection in the lobby, and swag. I worked with our photographer Chris Behroozian and videographer Armando Armas to create “moving stills” that would be projected on screens and in the lobby of the new office.
The theme this year was: “Mejor Juntos” (Better Together) and was focused on both the unity and diversity of the Latinx community. I drew inspiration from Latin political posters and floral patterns in traditional clothing.

We usually display static images on VC screens to not create too much movement in an office environment, but I opted to use slowed down video footage and subtle motion design to create a bit more depth.
